A few more from California Adventure. Ellery and Addie were precious together--they are 6 weeks apart and have a BLAST playing together. I wish I had taken a picture of their faces when the princesses entered the restaurant--pure joy and sweet innocence!!!

On Saturday, we ventured out to California Adventure with Darin's sister, Dawn and her 3 children, Darin's parents, and Aunt Nancy. The children had a wonderful time and Ellery and Addie especially enjoyed having dinner with the princesses!!!

While visiting Colorado a few weeks ago, we were fortunate to meet my friend, Casey, and 2 of her 3 children at the zoo. Casey and I were friends as children and have re-discovered our friendship as adults. She is an incredible mother, wife, and friend, and I am in awe of her tireless spirit!

Darin, Ellery, grandma, and grandpa ventured out to Disneyland while I stayed home with our sick baby. Here are some pictures of her visiting the princesses--pure heaven for her!!!

Our sweet little boy, who is changing daily. He is becoming more stable and getting close to walking. He can say, "mama, dada, ball, and some version of night-night." He ADORES his sister and laughs hysterically at her many antics. What a joy it is to watch them play and interact more each day!

A face we see often when a little miss someone does not get her way! She has mastered the art of pouting, and this face is often followed by the words, "mommy, you hurt my feelings."

We had a wonderful weekend in Denver and then Steamboat Springs. The weekend included lots of eating, drinking, and playing in the snow. Ellery LOVED the snow and took to skiing fairly quickly. Dane was unsure about it all, but entertained all the same.

Just another Monday morning in the land of fairies. . . .notice the Home Depot apron that has been used to accessorize the fairy outfit. There is just no disputing the unique taste of a 3 year old!!

Here is Dane enjoying his birthday present from mom, dad, and Ellery. Daddy made sure he would be safe by taking him shopping for his own special helmet(which Darin may have enjoyed more than Dane). I HIGHLY recommend the Kettler Air Navigator tricycle for little ones. Dane is able to hold-on and enjoy a spin through the neighborhood with mom or dad steering, and Ellery can ride it independently. It even rides smoothly on the dirt trails as well as the beach.

On Saturday, our little Buckaroo celebrated his first birthday party with friends and family. He LOVED his homemade carrot cake with cream cheese frosting--yummy! He is growing to be such a big boy who loves playing with all types of balls, cars, trucks, and building structures. We can't believe our baby is now a toddler!!
